OCS Cadets March Out Of Step At Passing Out Parade — Netizen Calls It “Kallang Wave” Marching
Looks like some people will be signing extra after this.

A recent Officer Cadet School (OCS) passing out parade got some unexpected attention when a platoon of cadets was caught marching out of step during their march in.
A video posted by @singaporeincidents on Instagram humorously dubbed the scene “Kallang Wave” marching.
While it is not known when the video was taken, OCS’s Facebook page indicated that a batch of officers was commissioned on March 15.
Marching out of step is seen as a sign of poor discipline and the cadets in question will likely face reprimand after the parade.
Netizens were quick to react, with some taking aim at the young officers for their lack of synchronisation.
“Are these our officers today? I don’t see how they can lead, excel, and let alone overcome,” read a comment, referencing the OCS motto “To Lead, To Excel, To Overcome”.
One said: “All those rehearsals under the sun went down the drain.”
However, not everyone was critical. Some expressed sympathy, questioning “why post this video to shame them?”
But others countered: “If they didn’t want to be embarrassed, then they should have marched properly from the start.”
Nothing a little extra guard duty won’t solve, right?
