“I Did Nothing For Our Group Project”: Freeloading Student Made To Wear Humiliating Sign At Group Presentation In Class

You've probably had to deal with people who don't pull their weight but still get credited for other people's work, whether it's at work or at school.
But it looks like these students in Taiwan have found the best way to deal with their group mate who's been riding on their coattails for a group project.
Recently, a netizen shared on Threads a video of a group of students during a presentation.
While other students were busy sharing their work in front of the class, a guy, who was wearing a mask, was seen quietly sitting at the side with his head and hands placed inside a cardboard cangue (yes, the kind they use to publicly shame prisoners in ancient times).
"I did nothing for our group project," the sign read.
As humiliating as that sounds, said offender was still smiling during the presentation as though he wasn't embarrassed at all.
Regardless, netizens were tickled by this group's method of shaming their team member, and many even took to the comments to mention their other freeloading project mates.
"Luckily you didn't even show up," jested one netizen while tagging his pal while another did the same thing and quipped: "Great, I happen to have cardboard boxes at home".
A netizen, however, had a very interesting take on this approach.
"As long as I put that sign on, I can don't do anything and pass [the assignment]. That's pretty worth it," they remarked.
Um, we don't think that's how it works?
